KOMOS launches medical socket strip on the market

 

Our medi­cal socket strip has been adapt­ed to cur­rent requi­re­ments and now com­bi­nes a robust con­s­truc­tion with a visual­ly appe­al­ing design.

This pro­duct is spe­ci­al­ly desi­gned for use in hos­pi­tals and medi­cal faci­li­ties. The pro­duct group is available with 4 or 6 sockets in dif­fe­rent ver­si­ons. The alu­mi­num housing com­bi­ned with a hin­ged fixing bra­cket ensu­res a per­ma­nent sup­p­ly of power to medi­cal equip­ment during use and pre­vents the plug from being unin­ten­tio­nal­ly pul­led out. The socket strip meets the requi­re­ments of IEC 60601-ff and can be ope­ra­ted in rooms of appli­ca­ti­on group 2 as defi­ned in VDE 0100–710. It can be atta­ched to stan­dard / uni­ver­sal rails or round tubes.

Each socket out­let insert is sepa­ra­te­ly fused. Equi­po­ten­ti­al bon­ding can also be inte­gra­ted for the devices. This makes the pro­duct ide­al for use in hos­pi­tals, tre­at­ment rooms or pati­ent rooms.
