Your mis­si­on

Pre­cis­i­on deter­mi­nes how well a com­po­nent will end up being. And for that, you need tools that work exact­ly.

You learn how to crea­te pre­cise tools and tool com­pon­ents from tech­ni­cal dra­wings, how to assem­ble them, test them, and main­tain them.

At KOMOS, you work on tools for pun­ching and forming tech­no­lo­gy as well as pla­s­tic injec­tion mol­ding. You expe­ri­ence how craft­sman­ship, modern manu­fac­tu­ring tech­no­lo­gy, and digi­tal pro­ces­ses work tog­e­ther.

Respon­si­bi­li­ties

Your tasks

  • You learn to read tech­ni­cal dra­wings and deri­ve manu­fac­tu­ring steps from them.
  • You pro­cess metal by dril­ling, mil­ling, tur­ning and grin­ding.
  • You com­ple­te pre­cise tool com­pon­ents and learn how to assem­ble them into func­tion­al tools.
  • You will gain insights into the design and func­tion of pun­ching, forming and injec­tion mol­ding tools.
  • You test dimen­si­ons and sur­faces using appro­pria­te mea­su­ring and test­ing instru­ments.
  • You sup­port the main­ten­an­ce, ser­vicing and repair of our tools.
  • You learn to iden­ti­fy the cau­ses of errors and to imple­ment impro­ve­ments tog­e­ther with your col­le­agues.
  • You work with digi­tal manu­fac­tu­ring infor­ma­ti­on, our ERP sys­tem, and the KOMOS app.
